Getting Ready for Cheriton

 

The dragoon regiment is now fully based and ready to serve in Waller's Parliamentary Army against Hopton and Forth at Cheriton next week.  The heading photograph shows the unit mounted.  Below is the dismounted version.

I am now working through the sets of Pendraken flags that I have to find those for the regiments that took the field that day.

The extra companies for my blue infantry regiments are now based up as well.  These are all Newline figures and can either go with the regiments or be detached as commanded shot or purely musket units.  One of these will serve as Lisle's detachment of musketeers for Hopton's small army.  

Finally, a Cuirassier regiment that was varnished some weeks ago has now been based as well.  Haselrigg's Lobsters fought at Cheriton but their uniforms (as far as could be seen under all the armour) were red/scarlet so I will use one of my other Cuirassier regiments for them.
