A spot of rebasing

 


Having made an unintended start on touching up and rebasing an assortment of ancient cavalry a few days ago, the work has been seen through to completion.  All the figures have had their metalwork brightened up, flesh toned and chips made good.  A number were given other improvements.

12 Thracian cavalry have had trim added to their cloaks and some better finishing on their horses.  These are all Zvezda figures.

Six Greek horse archers, also Zvezda figures, only had the basic set of improvements.

12 Macedonian Prodromoi, the six at the back from an HäT set, those in front being Newline figures, had a fair amount of improvement to their horses.

What had previously been plain purple cloaks have been repainted dark grey with a white stripe, which gives them a more distinctive look

Finally a batch of six Paeonian allies for the Macedonians have had what was previously plain off-white clothing improved by a central band of colour and some trim around the sleeves.  These HäT figures are not the most interesting but now look a little less ordinary.
